I know this has been asked before: question about music (lemmy.world)
 

I don't want to spam the community but I can't for the life of me find a way to search within communities. If anyone knows a way, it'd be greatly appreciated.

I'm basically looking for the fastest way to get music on my old ipods (nano and classic 5th gen). I once used a de-drm tool to import my Spotify playlists but it took days. Are music torrents mostly private trackers now, or do y'all know a better way to get my stuff on an ipod?

Do you think a Fold style phone with an eInk display on the outside would work well? in c/android@lemmy.world

I think this would be too niche and also too expensive (I believe e-ink is expensive?) but I would also love this!

As soon as I put my ereader down for a quick look at my phone I'm on another device so I kinda forget to pick up my Ereader again. So yeah I'd love to see that.

Is anyone else enjoying the slower pace of content? in c/asklemmy@lemmy.ml

Honestly: no.

But I must say that I wasnt enjoying reddit in the way I used to anymore. I used to scroll reddit in bed to wind down, mostly text posts (meaningful conversations) or cute animal pictures. Last few years it turned into doomscrolling with way too much video content like tiktok/reels/shorts. So I enjoy the text and image focus on Lemmy which also seems more civil (for now?).

What's your favorite alternate launcher? in c/android@lemmy.world

I've been using nova launcher prime since forever. Make a backup on my old phone when getting a new one, and import it on the new phone.
