Not really commenting on whether Altman got paid enough or not, but "well he's not fucking homeless" isn't really a sensible argument in any conversation about compensation.

Quieter than Silence are sublime, they have several shows on Youtube and they're all different with different guest musicians and they're all amazing.

and

Özgür Baba - Dertli Dolap, Çay Taşıand this full show: at the Franciscan Church.

Ooh I really like this one and the Le Lab Virgin Radio one, especially Opposite Ways. So much better than the album versions.

Off the top of my head: Parliament Funkadelic - The Mothership Connection, Live In Houston 1976.

That's my go to. An amazing show and never fails to get me in a good mood or cheer me up. Parliament Funkadelic is magic.

That was a disappointing Where's ~~Waldo~~ the Nazi. Everyone is either clapping or some shit. Waste of time. At least the dude with the roasted chicken for a hat was fun. 1/5 don't recommend.

It's insane how abruptly things went from "Don't share any information, online, especially anything personal" to "You must be a suspicious person or a criminal if you're not on the net with your real name, face and everything about your life" in the advent of Facebook et al.

The Grand Wazoo is Zappa's best album in my opinion, never get tired of it. One of the few albums that has been absolutely life altering.

Oh, haha, now that I listen to this song once you've said that I can hear that. Check out the 'Maaäet' (Earth mother) album, it's their masterpiece. They used to be a lot darker and folkier and less post rocky. Which is fine really. Their singer has a deep, low singing voice usually, not sure if he sings on this one. There's still a bunch of folky stuff on the new one as well.

I don't know if I had my expectations too high or what, but after waiting for over a decade, I was a little disappointed with the new album. It's a good album but after such a long time, at least half of which they've apparently been working on the album at least for some part, I just expected something different.
