Thanks, not sure why the original lemmy.dbzer0.com post isn't available anymore. There were some good comments in there, saying some of the above list is out of date (Privacy Badger for one).

There was a comment referral to https://github.com/arkenfox/user.js/wiki/4.1-Extensions. Some interesting points in there which I wasn't keeping up with. For instance, Cookie Auto Delete is kinda pointless now, with Firefox Total Cookie Protection.

Note that you can block specific accounts it you want. If you see an irritant you can block it.

I have the same concern, with regards to the IP address. However, my experience with the shared SearxNG instances is they are often throttled by the engines. So it's a trade-off. What about using a VPN?
