Well… that, and one nucleus splitting in half wouldn‘t start a chain reaction in a cucumber, and therefore not release a macroscopically noticeable amount of energy.

On my NixOS, nix sets the environment variables XDG_DATA_DIRS, XDG_CONFIG_DIRS, etc. Maybe these contain what you‘re looking for? Do you have a path ~/.nix-profile/share/applications?
If the plants could just tell me what they want that would be great
