Basically just a browser machine for people who only use a browser and/or web apps anyway. Wouldn't recommend one personally but if it works for your use case then it's great. Remember that the best software and hardware is whatever makes your life easier (or you like better, depending on your priorities).

There isn't a specific thing I'm looking for, that the point of the post.
Never knew that was a thing
I read when I have time and when I feel like it, these days it takes a while.
Smooth I guess bc idk what you mean by chunky. I just use tea bags to make the tea and sweeten with honey.
I dont trust crypto stuff bc it's essentially gambling, and any non-crypto use is worse than just an encrypted text file.
Imo it's perfectly fine not to have an opinion on something so long as you don't weigh in on it, much like how you shouldn't complain about which candidate got elected if you didn't vote.
Tried that, didn't help on my system. I switched to the flatpak version just now but the integration the preinstalled version had (option in devices thing to run with VLC).

Tuxedo OS. Same idea as smth like mint or PopOs but (imo) done much better. It also has rolling release for some stuff (like the DE) and non-rolling for other stuff (not even sure what bc I don't really look in detail). It also uses KDE plasma my favorite (and imo the best) DE. It's got pretty good app availability in terms of official packages because it is based on Ubuntu LTS (now 24.04). There are a couple things that are vestigial on most computers bc it was made for tuxedo computers but these have no negative effect on other devices in my experience.
There is no reason a ryzen 5 4000 and a GTX 1650 with 16 GB of ram shouldn't be able to run a game at 60 fps at 1080p native resolution, or at 1440p (monitor I use now is the resolution) with upscaling and still look decent. That's not even an opinion thing, cyberpunk runs at a good framerate at 1440p looking absolutely gorgeous with fidelityfx 3, but I shouldn't even need that. Also, "just upgrade your pc" is like telling a homeless guy to just buy a house because 1) PC shit is expensive and 2) I have a laptop so I can't just upgrade bits and pieces.
I'm using Voyager and it handles that pretty well.
