I've heard that you can watch that movie in a loop starting at any point and it doesn't make any more or less sense than starting at the beginning.

I immediately knew it was a scam because the USPS would never wish me a wonderful day in c/scams@lemmy.one

I've gotten 8 of these texts in the last 9 days. Every single one has a different URL. Out of curiosity I clicked on one of the links and chrome detected Chinese on the page but I couldn't see it anywhere.

Do you think monogamy will always be the main "form" of earth or do we just break someday this code and just "do whatever we want" in c/asklemmy@lemmy.ml

I'd argue that some people are not tech savvy enough to figure that out. Whereas Lemmy is actually less complicated.

I'm still curious as to what is going to happen on the 1st and moving forward. I haven't seen much news about whether or not moderation focused apps/bots will still work despite Reddit's promises.

My bet is that effective moderation is going to drop significantly. Spam is going to increase to take advantage and trolls (whether to usual kind or as a form of protest) will run rampant. The user experience is going to suffer for the users that currently "don't care". And then Reddit will die.
