It could also be a design used in the California class alone, kinda like how Starfleet realized the Intrepid class bio bits were neat, but ultimately less reliable

Ok, converting to imperial is nice but then acting like we don't understand our own measures is just insulting.

It a solid series, a bit more Star Wars than I'd like but that's to be expected given the target audiences age. Also Admiral Janeway gets shit fucking done, like her more than Captain Janeway in that regard

First one was before the Solar system finished forming, no life, it was also the size of Mars. The Moon is a combination of matter from that object and matter thrown up from Earth. Second one was tiny by comparison and we actually are pretty sure we found the crater
