This looks like it will work for me, thanks! I do still feel like not having a more baked in solution will be an issue for many.

My major struggle with Lemmy right now is that it is near impossible to post a video/gif/mp4 without having another account on a hosting provider. Reddit handled this very well, and I am concerned that if there isn't an easy solution on Lemmy, it won't work for many people as an alternative to Reddit.

For example, I made a few video/gif memes. I couldn't upload the mp4 or gif version to any of the 3 instances I joined. I went to imgur, but it requires a log in, and the link takes you to my profile. I tried giphy and another gif hosting site, but there is time/size limits.

Am I missing something? I know storage isn't free/unlimited on Lemmy, I totally get that the people hosting instnaces have server costs and shouldn't foot the bill...but something's got to give.

I used to work near this place, sometimes it had smoke coming from it. I imagine it cannot be used for biological things...right?

This one was fun to work on. Used Inkpunk Diffusion - no img2img or controlnet - straight prompt editing.

I worked on this one for a family member who owns a blue Alfa Romeo Giulia. No post processing, I just used Inkpunk Diffusion model and kept running and tweaking prompts then upscaled my favorite..

This was the first non functional/prototype prints after I got my Prusa. Pretty detailed for a .2mm print.

I used the website stumbleupon.com. I used to waste hours on that site and just shuffle websites within my interests. It was a good way to find new websites to frequent.

I have really been diving deep into a lot of niche hobbies and Redd** had such a great community for them. I have no problem starting over for the sake of justice, but it is going to take a long time to build them up.
