Hard disagree, his interruptions were because they weren't addressing his question.

Vulfpeck is so talented, but everything seems, idk too tight, too clean, too by the numbers? I say this as a white man but it really feels like white funk in the worst ways.

Welcome to the new web. Nothing is optimal, it's a good intro for people. The setting is there and that's what matters.

I just block the bots, I want to see what real people care enough to post.

That's just a function of how the host server sorts posts. ~~I am fairly sure that functionality could be implemented without the need to even fork the version.~~

You can go to your user setting and select new comments and do this now.

Kind of like if there was a Lemmy Star Trek server and it hosted a bunch of communities with different topics that are all related to Star Trek?

The architecture is in place to do what you're talking about. Just needs the right people to adopt the approach over time.

And right there nuzzled into the last two sentences it is. NYT telling us how wonderful the economy is, just look at these statistics! Let's not consider how much of folks income goes to housing and food, NYT just wants to talk about the economy in broad strokes because all the profits from squeezing you plebs looks great on this graph.
