Snow Crash feels more prescient every day.

It took me forever to learn this: the fact that someone dislikes my favorite book (or movie, or game, or album) doesn't mean they dislike me. I'll probably have to learn it again if I ever manage to get my own book published.
So glad this is what Ted is focusing on.
But honestly, if it gets him to stop fomenting hostility toward trans people like my brother, I can live with whining about a toy movie.
