A Republican made this decision.

My understanding is that workers loaded wet concrete into trucks and then walked off the job without telling anyone. They're getting sued for the thousands of dollars of damage to equipment this caused, not the economic damage caused by not working.

Edit: the article linked says there was no equipment damage, and the dispute is over the value of the wasted concrete.

I was excited for OW2 as well. I left because of locking heroes behind the battle pass.

Greed has killed Blizzard. They're like Zerg Kerrigan... they look familiar but they're corrupted to the core, and everything they do is tainted by it.

I've already done my mourning, but it felt awful at the time. Sorry you're dealing with it now.

They could always pay the API fees and get ChatGPT to write some Reddit-like comments for them to report on.

Different types have different advantages and disadvantages.

Slot can be opened with stuff that isn't screwdrivers (keys, coins, etc). They can take more torque than Phillips and are cheap to make. They kind of suck to use though, the screwdriver/bit likes to slip off.

Phillips self-centers the bit, and is pretty tolerant of wrong-sized driver for the screw. It strips easily though.

Torx, square and Allen are more expensive to make and require the correct size driver, but they're higher torque and the driver doesn't slip out of the screw.

I'm not here because I don't want Reddit, I'm here because I do want Reddit, but it looks like the Reddit Corp is going to break it.

I don't think I'll leave Reddit until it goes to shit, but if mods leave, communities will fall apart and I won't have any reason to be there any more. We'll see what it looks like tomorrow.

Lemmy seems like the most likely to rise up and take Reddit's place, so here I am. My only major complaint is the lack of user base, so I'll stick around for a while and contribute my +1 in the hopes that enough others do the same thing to get the critical mass needed for niche hobby groups to form.

This is a new low for R*. Many of the removed cars are the "street cars" which could be stolen for free by new players.

Trying to monetize 10yo base game assets... smh
