Usualy being a very late adopter (buy stuff last, accept trends last, switch to norms late), I'm very happy I shutdown and deleted everything from my reddit account among the first, when spez bullcrap started, and went elsewhere, I joined squabbles, kbin and lemmy. But I'm here, I like the community, adoption and migration, and seeing the numbers tells me I'm not alone. Which is good.

Just to comment about blocking people on phones using browsers... My android Firefox' division of privacy fighters says 'hi' (uBlock, Privacy Badger, Ghostery).

While I'm using these addons, Reddit website can't spam ads or get data to sell.

Copied from Polygon article:

Embracer Group owns the rights to both Tomb Raider and Lord of the Rings; it acquired Tomb Raider when it purchased Eidos, Crystal Dynamics, and Square Enix Montreal from Square Enix in 2022. That year, Embracer Group bought the licensing rights to The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit by buying rights holder Middle-earth Enterprises. Early this year, Embracer announced that it has five mystery Lord of the Rings games in development by external partners.
