Search only searches communities? (lemmy.world)
 

Hey so my partner has Liftoff to browse Lemmy, and I noticed his search engine allows search for comments, posts, communities etc where as Jerboa just lets me search communities.

It was a sole factor of me deciding to also put Liftoff on my phone cuz it felt like an important function to be missing, but am I just not seeing it?

I'm super new to Lemmy, does anyone who's familiar with it and Jerboa know what this is trying to tell me? in c/asklemmy@lemmy.ml

Thanks! I thought it was something along those lines but wasn't sure if I needed to do something about it or if it would fix itself etc

Thank you! Sometimes it crashes but it's not often enough for me to care, seems fine otherwise. I'll probably wait it out unless it gets worse. Thank youuuuu super helpful reply!!!

I'm currently using jerboa, it's pretty close to Reddit feel, so I like it, cuz that's what I've been used to x.x
