Went to one in Poland a few years ago, and was amazed - firstly - that you could smoke inside there. Second was how well it was handled: the entire ceiling seemed to be extractor fans - could barely see or smell smoke at all.

Depends. If there's ever been few enough RSVPs Its not worthy of a party, I'll make a sub-group and suggest something else: cinema trip, pub, or just dinner round mine or something. Yeah, it can feel bad especially when reasons given for not being able to come seem spurious or easily worked around. My kid got into Snake Clash, and the amount of Ads especially of the "watch to win" type are ridiculous. Changed my routers DNS settings just so they could play the game ad free. Sadly, it now means progress is behind a relentless grind, cos you have to manually earn every single upgrade
