Was that during the period of time they couldn't upgrade lemmy.world? Been stabe ever since the upgrade was done and the servers tuned. For me it is the most RiF like of all the apps, so I prefer using it.

Connect is working really well for me, but I prefer jerboa. Unfortunately that isn't working right now with lemmy. World being on an older version. Once they go to 18.1, I should be able to use it again.
That's not how I read it. They were saying it didn't matter because of federation you can sub to any of them wherever they are.
I think they mean having multiple instances of a single community all grouped together. Like there's three or four star wars communities. Would be great if we could create a meta community that shows them all.
Haven't noticed any issues, aside from the occasional down time on world.
