I disabled notifications, so sorry for the late response.

In theory, what you're saying is true. The problem is, these are expensive cars, meaning they're all being bought by people with relatively deeper pockets. They just replace their relatively new cars with Teslas instead of prolonging the use of their existing ICE cars.

The result is more vehicle turnover for "green" reasons, but that is a lie. The use of vehicles for fewer and fewer months to move to an electric car is not helping the environment in any way.

I have not seen this mentioned before, but the Teslas people buy in the US isn't helping the environment. You just are saving on fuel!

Thanks for the chuckle, I totally did not look like an idiot in the Dentist's waiting room 😅

I mostly see Lemmy communities in my "All" page, but I am not sure if that is the case, how discovery across Kbin and Lemmy would work.

Banana Republic is a term coined for all the countries where this company operated.

Black-ish

For someone who is not Black, it brings a glimpse into Black culture that I simply did not have. Plus, Anthony Anderson is perfect casting for the role.

I am reading the first book of the series Empire of the Moghul right now.

Classified as historical fiction, it is very interesting to see how the kingdoms evolved and spread in Central Asia.

I use Niagara launcher. It is fantastic if you want to get to anything with just one hand, but it is unusable if you do use a lot of widgets. Have been using this for almost a year now, this is the way to go!

Bitwarden too, learned about it here on Lemmy!

Honestly, till date, the most amazing messaging app I have used. RIP!

I like the idea of using FOSS, thanks for the suggestion.

Somehow, I missed to do this earlier, but thank you!

So, I'm not sure if anyone knows the answer to this, but can Google know what I'm typing or has any triggers if certain words are spelled out or my passwords are being typed out?

Basically, I'm trying to see if the Google Keyboard app needs to be replaced, since this is something I've been using for the past 9 years.

So, I work a corporate job and I have to use MFA to login to my accounts. The problem is, I can't use any other app other than Microsoft Authenticator to use, I've tried using Aegis or Google Authenticator or a couple of other ones, all I see is can't use this app or something similar.

Any workaround to this?

I don't mind using Microsoft Authenticator, but having someone tell me I can only use that kinda irks me to an unbelievable extent.

Thanks!
