a player of mine would like to establish a new guild.

I've considered a few things, they probably have to establish a charter, have a few members before being fully established and recognized by the city.

I don't have any legislative knowledge though what else would they have to do? what would this process look like?

should've stopped a long time ago. I've been off everything but reddit for years and now I'm here.

we need to respond to things fucking us over quicker. Blizzard, the public transit system in America, Reddit, Twitter, Blizzard, the United States.

we give these cunts too much wiggle room

I've heard words like ward, charge, patron, master, champion?

But I don't think any of that is what I'm looking for. What are better terms for this kind of relationship??

Yes that remix is what I'm running off of.

This is what I was also thinking so thank you for reaffirming that

So I'm gonna try to start running WDH and I'm confident with chapter 1 Finding Floon. I also think I know how to run the actual Eye Heist situations.

I'm wondering if what I have planned for chapter 2 is too much?

For anyone not familiar, at this point in the module PCs have ownership of a tavern and different factions are supposed to come interact with them to basically draw PCs into the fabric of the city.

The book suggests a few members of different fractions visiting, some quests and a potential rivalry situation.

I'm planning on doing a few faction quests but substituting a few for Heists from "Keys from the Golden Vault" as well as a potential tournament/holiday thing. I think this section could be like 12 sessions. Is that too thick for this module? Does that draw PCs too far from the initial campaign pitch and story?

I think it would be cool if we had a megathread for finding players / DMs or something. Also anyone starting a campaign soon?

That's tech today unfortunately. They don't want you to have applicances for 10+ years now. Fridge I use is from the 80 or 90s I think and still works fine. My mom has run through three fridges in less than 10 years it seems.

Can i ask how?

[–] Deft@lemmy.fmhy.ml 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

hey I'm also running WDH very soon. I think just reading up lore and familiarizing yourself with the government will help you understand the resources at hand to prevent the hoodlums from ruining their own life

not all players are well seasoned I'm a little worried they won't be able to do that

wow great point. with more players combat would have to be more difficult as well. i also tend to run high magic games and with magic items, six players and a ton of mobs it could drag in combat

classic question.

I know most people prefer 4 but I'm running an online game (Waterdeep Dragon Heist) and was curious how bad a six person online game might be?
