Those comic book movies are keeping theaters open, so there are screens even in existence to show Scorsese movies. He ought to be grateful.

Boost. Was my favorite for years on the other platform, very happy to see it launched here
Shhhh... you're not allowed to point out anti-Indian racism on internet forums.
Seriously though, it's amazing how many people can't see how they use the same fucking rhetoric talking about Indians that they themselves would immediately condemn being used against any other population.
India was systematically robbed by an industrialized, kleptomaniac regime less than a century ago. And today they are working to position themselves to be a major world power in the future and fans of colonialism and Western hegemony can't stand it.
I thought this as well (massive safety events being a pretty normal thing, after all) until last year when the wet market swab data was finally analyzed. (After apparently being leaked? Accidentally? Accidentally on purpose?)

Thank you for bringing this up. I'm a nurse on a cardiovascular progressive care unit, and we get a handful of young people (40-50s) who come in with "no prior history" having heart attacks or borderline heart attacks.
One of the things I'd note is that most of them have high blood pressure that they didn't know about. High blood pressure doesn't feel bad, so they never felt a need to see a doctor. But it is silently damaging arteries, particularly the delicate ones in your heart, kidneys, and brain.
The only way to know if you are developing high blood pressure is to get it checked regularly. Get an automatic blood pressure cuff for your house, or go to your primary care physician once a year. And when they tell you that 140/90 is putting you at higher risk of heart attack, take them seriously.
I don't think anyone minds me singing to myself as I walk by. I'm not standing in the queue belting out opera lol
I sing in public frequently. (I'm trained, so I know I'm not fully torturing the public lol)
I couldn't log in to Boost using my kbin account. So I created an account on startrek.website with the same username and I'm running with that just fine on Boost. It doesn't really have much impact on the day to day activity of me basically just browsing All and bs-ing with people.
I suspect Boost doesn't support (and might not be able to support) kbin because of the unique kbin features like non-anonymous voting and the "boost" for visibility/favoriting thing on kbin.
I'm now seeing a larger volume of both up and down votes, which just don't translate to kbin for some reason? (Like on kbin I would see comments about how hard downvoted a comment was, and I'm only seeing like two downvotes. On boost now I'm seeing all of that invisible stuff.)
Overall, just the ability to permanently hide posts that I've marked as read and having a save post function that isn't the kbin "boost" feature is going to keep me using this startrek.website account so I can use the Boost app.
The only thing I miss is my more concentrated interactions with some of the people who show up frequently on kbin. Those usernames I've come to recognize
I'm an Xennial and my grandmother taught me how to use Lotus when I was in junior high lol
Thank you! It's in "account preferences." I didn't see it in there. That's exactly what I was looking for
Edit: found how to fix this in "account preferences"
Mine hide in the short term when I "Mark as Read" (you can turn on the "Mark as Read" checkmark button in post settings). But the marked as read/hidden status isn't holding over, if I navigate away from the page I was on. So every time I navigate to All, I'm seeing the same posts I just marked as read a couple minutes ago
Living in New England, United States, I shower on the three days a week that I work. On days off, I only shower if I've been working in the yard or something like that.
When I lived in the Caribbean, I showered at least once, often twice a day. It's very different in the tropics lol
