Yeah, if Voice doesn't have RCS support by the time iOS 18 launches, I'll be moving off it for messaging. Have a number of text groups with iPhones that will benefit from everyone on RCS, most important knowing that my group messages were actually received. MMS still randomly drops messages or they get massively delayed or received out of order.

I've used Lemmy more in the past 12 hours than I have in the past month since signing up. All because of Sync. in c/syncforlemmy@lemmy.world

Sync UI/UX are carried over from years of refinement as a Reddit client with full native controls. It now mostly just has a different API and service layer wired in for Lemmy. Definitely not a simple web view app.
