that's fantastic!! for the media you still consume (youtube, Lemmy, etc.), avoid negative/angry/drama-driven communities and content. focus on positive things you really enjoy, like your hobbies, animals, uplifting news etc.

back when i still used reddit i cut out subreddits like antiwork and mildly infuriating and subbed to scrungy cats and things like that. my feed was so much brighter and it really made a different to my mental state and attitude!

cut away from social media and news. it'll make you a sadder and angrier person and will rarely add anything meaningful to your life.

Don't do this, it absolutely hurts Devs more than big bad Unity. Devs should make the choice to move away from Unity if they can, but as a consumer it's not your call.

It is extremely useful in the right circumstances. When people say it isn't useful or that it's 'stupid', they're not looking at the proper use cases - every tool has good and bad ways to use it (you wouldn't use a hammer to peel an apple).

For example, we will soon have fully rendered smoke simulated at real time in 3D spaces (ie. video games) because we can calculate a small portion of how that smoke looks and then have AI guess what the rest looks like (with shockingly good results!)

AI is not a fad, it's not going away, it's improving rapidly, and it is going to massively change our digital world within half a decade.

I think I would've stopped reading manga if Tachiyomi hadn't made it so easy ☺️

Just started Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead and absolutely loving it so far. Any recommendations?

Tachiyomi is also fantastic for this, it's often touted as being the 'best' Android manga reader

My boyfriend's unreleased homebrew systems are my favourite!!

But past that, I have to say Pathfinder 2e. Everything's so clean and well put together! Not that it doesn't have its problems, but they run a tight ship over at Paizo and the community is incredibly wholesome. Hype for 2.5e!!

EDIT: Just want to add on how glad I am that more people are trying things that aren't D&D these days... I've come to have some real issues with 5e over the years. So many of its core concepts feel flawed to me after trying other games!
