The UN HRC just voted on a resolution condemning illegal unilateral sanctions for violating human rights. The only votes in support of the sanctions were from the US and Europe. (lemmy.ml)

Does a UN resolution achieve anything? I don't expect any sanctions to be lifted as a result of this...
