Is there any plan or timeline to support in-line >!spoiler!< text?

I know a few apps have implemented this already, but it would be nice to have it on the entire platform.

The current spoiler is markdown isclunky, difficult to remember, and not as flexible as in-line spoiler text.

Thanks, good to know! Glad to see that the issue has some recent activity.

You're welcome 😊

I really like the spoiler text block.

My reasons

  • I can explain what's hidden
  • without spoiling anything
  • and users can decide to look out not

It's just triple colon and description, then your message, then close with another triple colon. If you forget, click the spoiler button (at least on Jerboa, probably on web as well).

Inline spoilers would be nice too, and there's room for both.
