I have a Eureka upright vacuum and I guess it got discontinued several years ago. I have been unable to find a replacement filter for it now for years, out of stock everywhere. I’ve been cleaning the filter but now the filter has a hole and it needs to be replaced. Anyone know how I can replace the filter? Really don’t want to buy another vacuum and turn my current one into a useless hunk of plastic.

This is the part I can find nowhere: https://kirkwoodsweeper.com/shop/eureka-dcf5-dust-cup-filter/

Have you contacted Eureka about this? They could potentially have one in stock, or could make one for you, or suggest a generic one that will fit your model.

I looked online and saw several generic models, but they were all designed for newer vacuums.

You could potentially patch the hole with something if it's small enough, but thats probably the worst idea out of all of them.

Good luck

Didn’t think to contact their support, went ahead and did that. Will see if they are able to do anything.

Whelp, reached out to their support and after a week they told me they “don’t support” the vacuum anymore and have no parts for it. So I won’t support Eureka after this vacuum either. Fuck planned obsolescence.
