- Lather: Barrister and Mann - Adagio Soap
- Brush: Yaqi Cashmere Synthetic Shaving Brush, Dandelion Green Handle, 24mm
- Razor: Gillette Slim Adjustable H3
- Blade: Personna Platinum Chrome (1)
- Post Shave: Barrister and Mann - Adagio
This is the first SOTD post on this thread, I didn't see any on any of the other SOTD threads that I'm seeing for today. Am I missing something? Is it because people are posting elsewhere for the lather games. (I myself am not participating in the lather games FYI.)
Am I missing something? Is it because people are posting elsewhere for the lather games.
It's definitely because of the Lather Games being hosted on Reddit and not here.
I suspected that was the case. I'm not an everyday shaver, so I don't participate in the LGs unless one of the themes happens to be something I can do. But I'm no longer on Reddit, and I do miss seeing the LG posts.
2023.07.01 SOTN:
-
Prep: Neutrogena Hydro Boost Cleanser
-
Brush: AKA Brushworks Amethyst Watchman with 26mm AP Shave Co G5C
-
Razor: Henson AL13(+++)
-
Blade: Gillette Perma-Sharp (3)
-
Lather: Stirling Glacial Satsuma
-
Post Shave: Stirling Mentholated Unscented Witch Hazel and Aloe, Stirling Glacial Satsuma Aftershave Splash, Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel-Cream Extra-Dry
Not a great shave, if I'm honest. Think I am just too used to my mild (+) Henson. I think I'm going to try a new blade for my next shave and see how it fairs (probably a persona).
