Advances in genetic technology and treatments
That slowly but somewhat erratically, my art skills, and my German are both improving.
Severence season 2 is probably going to be pretty good. Capitalism will eventually collapse under its own weight. Peak sweet corn season is in a couple months.
But, without capitalism no one would have a reason to grow the sweet corn
I can assure you that people ate food before capitalism.
The ozone layer got fixed, acid rain are no longer a thing, death is inevitable :)
The Fediverse
The growing acceptance of AI.
Don't get me wrong, I am quite worried about some of the ways AI is being used currently. But any technology can be used or abused. And as someone interested in HRI and human-like robotics & AI, I always got reactions like terminator was gonna happen for real. Seeing that slowely changing is nice.
Now if only the ethics of those big companies making AI would also change, forced if not voluntarily, then we get some real cool stuff.
