  • Brush: Stirling 24mm Synthetic
  • Razor: Gillette Red Tip Super Speed
  • Blade: Personna Platinum Chrome (2)
  • Lather: Catie's Bubbles - Royal Garden - Soap
  • Post Shave: Pinaud - Clubman - Aftershave
  • Post Shave: Goodfellow & Co. - Face Lotion - Kelp & Sea Mineral

Aftershave kill! This has been my travel aftershave for a while. Since I travel for work, that actually made me use it more often than I would have otherwise. It's a nice enough scent, but it won't be replaced.

Den tour 4

MdC fougere.

A secret Santa soap that definitely isn't one that is on my kill list because it's a momster and I don't believe I be have the patience. It's a beautiful scent, a darker green fougere, with some brightness but a smoky undetone. As a shaving soap MdC is a great performer at slickness. Post shave feel lacks compared to some of the modern artisans but no one is as slick in my book.

Unscientific rank

  1. MdC fougere
  2. Wickham ninfeo di eregia
  3. Signature a Capra
  4. Caties le marche du rasage

  • Brush: Zenith/Stirling - 510SE-XL 31mm boar
  • Razor: GEM - MMOC (first gen, 1930-1932)
  • Blade: Personna - GEM PTFE (5)
  • Lather: Chiseled Face - Ghost Town Barber
  • Post Shave: Chiseled Face - Ghost Town Barber Aftershave splash
  • Fragrance: Spearhead Shaving Company - Leather EdT

Easy shave with GTB and the MMOC. It's funny how this razor feels kind of harsh to shave with, but pretty much always gives me a smooth shave with no irritation.

Have a good Sunday y'all!

Atlas Shaves II - Day 23

  • Brush: Craving Shaving Blue Bronze 26mm Crave Synthentic Knot
  • Razor: Karve Shaving Co. Overlander
  • Blade: Gillette 7 O’Clock Super Stainless (Green) [19]
  • Lather: Chiseled Face - Járnviðr - Soap
  • Post Shave: MacDuffs Soap Company/Aylsworth Razors - The Northman - Aftershave (Alcohol Free)

Stubble Buster is not a brand name that I was familiar with previously, but it's a brand created by the artisan behind Chiseled Face. Járnviðr is a new-to-me scent. It's a sample that has been sitting in my den for a little while, and that's a shame because it's so good.

Stubble Buster Coastal is a dupe of Issey Miyake L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme, and Razorock had a similar dupe in For Chicago. I think this is what I'll use for tomorrow.

Edit: I see the argument for using the Artisan for past and present brands, but for me to stay consistent with past artisan selections that stayed on brand, I'm changing from Artisan points to Scenter points. I think there is a general consensus that Ron scented the Stubble Buster soaps. This removes 1 overall point and entitles u/Priusaurus to a correction bonus point tomorrow.
