The Palestinian militant group Hamas has recruited between 10,000 and 15,000 members since the start of its war with Israel, according to two congressional sources briefed on U.S. intelligence, suggesting the Iran-backed fighters could remain a persistent threat to Israel.

The intelligence indicates a similar number of Hamas fighters have been killed during that period, the sources said.

There must be some other explanation. I mean if the killed my grandparents, parents and a few siblings, maybe a kid or two etc., I'd not hold any grudges.

And the cycle continues. Next up it's 5-15 years of low volume rocket fire from Palestine to Israel until full scale war breaks out again and Israel goes in to level the place.

Honestly, after the sheer volume of destruction that happened in this "war" I doubt they'll get away with just low volume rocket fire. Gazans have just went through the second Nakba; expect more violence in the years to come.
