I went ahead and bought a bunch of indie games, picked up Darkchaser, Oxygen Not Included, and UFO50, and also grabbed Cities: Skylines. Got used to the launch prices of some AAA games, buying these discounted low-priced games really doesn't hurt much.

UFO 50, In Other Waters, Planet of Lana, The Last Game, Genome Guardian, La-Mulana 2, Stacklands DLC...And a steam deck. I decided to finally get the deck before we might get tariffs and UFO 50 was my main purchase for handheld play.

Lastly, I really enjoyed Moonring during this sale period but that is available for free. Thought I should give it some cred despite not fitting your prompt.

Finally got Witcher 3 on my PC so I can play that again.

Me and the (long distance) gf bought It Takes Two

Kingdom Come: Deliverance

Death's Door, cute souls like

Spider-Man: Miles Morales

And God of War Ragnarok wasn't on sale but I was waiting to see if it would be, so I technically bought it during the autumn sale

Nothing, I'm from Argentina and now if I buy a game I can't eat for a weak.

[–] ouch@lemmy.world 7 points 22 hours ago (1 children)

Sorry to hear that. Sail the high seas with no worries. You can still contribute to digital preservation of games by seeding. But don't worry if you can't do that.

I hope things get better for you!

Went for the Hitman WOA deluxe edition. Good discount and was eyeing it for a while.

Just bought Riven, I'm liking it quite a lot so far. I see why it's a classic. Love the feeling of being dropped into a completely alien world.

Great game! Just be glad you don’t have to swap the cd every 20 clicks. Riven was basically 1 disc per cutscene when it first came out and I remember getting very frustrated as a kid when I accidentally triggered an island switch and knew it’d be 10 minutes until I could get back.

Mainly Banishers Ghosts of New Eden. I don't have much money at the moment due to almost 4 months of unemployment, just got a new job and with my first paycheck from 4 days of work I got that, plus the new humble bundle, a couple coloring packs cause I like the pixel coloring books, and a couple games that were $2-3 each: a zelda clone called Blossom Tales, The Snow Fable: Mystery of the Flame (I also like hidden object adventure games), a lovecraftian 2d platformer called The Last Case of Benedict Fox, and adventure game version of Sherlock Holmes: Hound of the Baskervilles and a Wipeout clone called Flashout 3.

I got all the cheap classics I had been playing with an eyepatch and a peg leg years ago. I'm especially excited about Magicka 2 to play with friends. My nephew is gonna love them!

[–] Grandwolf319@sh.itjust.works 5 points 1 day ago (1 children)

None, I told myself that I have to first play my last paid games at least once before I buy a new one.

[–] derpgon@programming.dev 1 points 1 day ago

If DLCs count, sunk about 100 hours into Factorio Space Age since it's release .

[–] crossdl@leminal.space 2 points 23 hours ago

Fuck, fam.

I legit dropped $100. I have a Steam Deck now so it's like I can have ANY OF IT.

So far, LOTR Moria, For Honor, Barotrauma, and Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance.

I had Dark Alliance on my OG Xbox when I was younger and I'm really looking forward to playing it again as like an idle game.

Dark souls remastered, sekiro, and cities skylines

[–] dance_ninja@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago (1 children)

I'm giving Yakuza: Infinite Wealth a hard look.

[–] AgentDalePoopster@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago (1 children)

It's a great game and you should buy it

[–] dance_ninja@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago

Nice! I got the previous entry for free on Playstation, and I really liked it.

[–] Matriks404@lemmy.world 12 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Absolutely nothing, like in the past like 5 years.

Currently (re)playing all Half-Life and Portal games in order they were released.

[–] Sweetpeaches69@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Tiny Tina's Wonderland, Age of Mythology: Retold, Northgard, and Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order.

[–] Blackmist@feddit.uk 2 points 1 day ago (1 children)

I did like Fallen Order. It's not particularly challenging for the most part and it being compared to Dark Souls is overblown, but it definitely "gets" Star Wars.

[–] Sweetpeaches69@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago

Yeah, I'm a total Souls junkie. My favorite game ever was Bloodborne. I was on like NG+6 when I stopped playing it. That said, I never expect any game to come anywhere close to a Fromsoft Soulslike. There's a reason they're all called Soulslike, IMO; they can imitate, they can't be a Souls game.

I bought it mainly because all my friends won't stop giving me shit for not playing Fallen Order, and it does look interesting.

[–] DuckWrangler9000@lemmy.world 1 points 1 day ago (1 children)

I really wanted to try Starfield but can't justify the price. Like I want to buy it, but I also don't have that kind of money to spend. Might start asking around my local friends to see if any of them have it so I can library share with them

[–] Cethin@lemmy.zip 2 points 22 hours ago (1 children)

I had access to it with GamePass when it launched (I'm full Linux now so I've canceled that). I still pirated it because you can't mod games distributed by Windows unless the specifically allow it. I'm saying this to say, there are alternative means to try it available if you want, but also I regret the time I wasted on it. It wasn't worth the time spent not even spending money on it specifically, and I love previous Bethesda games and the sci-fi genre.

Anybody got an opinion on which is the best Far Cry game aside from the first three?

[–] Neon@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago (1 children)

5 has a amazing weapons modifications system

new dawn is absolutely amazing, but it is very much "qualität statt quantität", meaning: very good game, but also a small game.

[–] Duke_Nukem_1990@feddit.org 2 points 23 hours ago

Ich hab auch Qualität statt Quantität verstanden =P danke!

[–] DJalexTheGameDev@lemmy.world 63 points 2 days ago

Sorry but I don't see any bikes nor traffic lights on your captcha.

[–] Duke_Nukem_1990@feddit.org 1 points 1 day ago

Nothing yet. Currently having Slime Rancher and Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood in my cart. Wondering if buying games right now is even worth it with PoE2 coming next friday lol

[–] N00b22@lemmy.ml 4 points 1 day ago

Nothing yet

[–] russjr08@bitforged.space 1 points 1 day ago

I picked up Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered, I think that's really all I'm going to pickup honestly. Already have a fair bit in my backlog, and there's nothing else in my wishlist that makes me go "I want to play that right now" that can't just wait for another sale.

[–] Echolynx@lemmy.zip 4 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Tempted to get Hades for $10, but it's a game that makes me angry.

[–] TempermentalAnomaly@lemmy.world 4 points 1 day ago (1 children)

If dying over and over again is what's making you angry, turn on God Mode. The story is amazing. Without God Mode, I would have thrown it on the heap of games started that never hooked me. It was worth setting aside my pride to see a beautiful, intriguing set of stories and relationships unfold.

[–] BluesF@lemmy.world 2 points 13 hours ago

I kinda wish I had. Maybe I still will... 50 hours in I finally got my first escape and I now find I'm struggling to go back to it because it just keeps getting harder lmao. I just wanna tell Dusa how great she is.

[–] Mwa@lemm.ee 1 points 1 day ago

Brother got me buckshot roulette if that counts
