After the first part I expected "Cleaning the vacuums from a room allows more sound to survive"

Imagine a shortsighted wolf with dirty glasses. Cleaning its glasses would make it a more effective predator, right? The same applies to the vacuum which is why you shouldn't clean it.

This was a meme page, apparently transforming into a science education page. Sad.

I forget where it comes from, probably a standup comedian, but "It's no wonder cats and dogs are afraid of the vacuum cleaner, it's a thing that can eat and scream at the same time."

I've started using a broom for most things, only using the vacuum for corners and carpets. I realised I was cleaning less because the noise stressed me out
