Cleaning the house
Cooking. Everyone knows: When there's a dance party going on in the kitchen mealtime is coming.
Washing dishes
Writing documentation
Taking any form of public transportation. The sheer noise and bustle is way too much for me without headphones and a good playlist.
I honestly don't mind it normally, but I need the noise cancelling headphones for the losers that blast their shitty soundcloud-tier music off their phone speaker
Working out with weights
Nothing, maybe except for listening to music if you want.

Working out. I hate the silence otherwise, usually podcasts or music depends on mood and exercise.

mowing the yard without noise cancelling ear buds. it's way too loud without them. but the music gets me to a meditative state. i look forward to it every week.
Runnngi / jogging
Anything. Music makes everything easier to do for some reason
Exercise on the elliptical. Ideally I find songs with a moving tempo, but not too fast, and I can sync up my elliptical running to the beat.
Sleeping
Housework, I want something energetic.
Showering, I want something emotional.
Marking Essays, I want something instrumental.
I can't think of a thing I need music for, but if you mean you can't do it WELL without music than I say cardio.
