Only hundreds? With their active userbase? I know the article said they were told about it by a previous news article several months ago, but like, at some point there's only so much you can do.

I expect Facebook did nothing, which is not only so much you can do, but also I expect that from Facebook. The whole company needs to be split up, and this is just another symptom of that.

Is there anywhere to get those ads without having to book my face? (Asking for a friend, obviously)

Always have a fent test kit… especially if you bought it off Instagram

I don't know man, but I've browsed marketplace in the past and have seen adds for mushrooms and all sorts.

Those are grow kits not actual mushrooms, it's more of a grey area although selling spores for growing is expressly illegal.

Just yesterday I got an ad for actual shrooms! The website even had a "how is this legal" section, but the legal theory in there was... Not very convincing...

Fair enough, Jesus they're getting really brazen

[–] Aussiemandeus@aussie.zone 0 points 2 months ago

Nah man, just pictures of mushrooms and in the description options for lsd etc too.

In pretty sure it's cops or trolls though

Why does everyone else get all the good ads?

Enhance your calm.

That's an improvement over He Gets Us ads.

Does the facebook marketplace have an onion link?

[–] jaybone@lemmy.world 0 points 2 months ago (2 children)

Used to be you had to go to dark web tor sites to get this shit. Now it’s just all on meta?

[–] sugar_in_your_tea@sh.itjust.works 0 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Huh, may just need to go make an account there.

[–] jaybone@lemmy.world 0 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Meta is probably more likely to share your info with law enforcement.

Aw man, that means I'd have to share my stash...

[–] jeffw@lemmy.world 0 points 2 months ago

Except now it’s all cut with fentanyl

[–] markon@lemmy.world 0 points 2 months ago

Cool they should setup their own hidden services! 😂
