I didn't love Gadot's acting in Wonder Woman but it will be nice to see her get a better chance to act in this thriller

She's very charming, but Ana de Armas is both charming and can act.

A lot of it probably depends on the director.

She was pretty good in Death on the Nile, but then, hello, Kenneth Branagh directing.

Good or bad directing can very easily make or break a performance regardless of an actor's talent.
