I don't get the initial one, can you explain?

edit: is it because of how many flat tires it needed?

Never would have figured that one out. Haven't bought tires, and they might not even be where I'm from.

Oh boy..I'll bring you up to speed.

When I was a kid we used to roll down hills in wheels. Those were the Goodyears.

What do you call 365 condoms? A fucking Goodyear.

Tread pattern looks more like BF Goodrich.

[–] Annoyed_Crabby@monyet.cc 0 points 3 months ago

A Michelin star table.

[–] Sonotsugipaa@lemmy.dbzer0.com 0 points 3 months ago (3 children)

This is the 7th time I see a picture of a table like this, I guess this type of furniture is gaining traction

[–] SpeakinTelnet@programming.dev 0 points 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago) (1 children)

I dunno, I'm getting tired of them

[–] ynthrepic@lemmy.world 0 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Really? I don't see anyone else treading new ground like this. They have me gripped.

[–] dogsoahC@lemm.ee 0 points 3 months ago (1 children)

I guess I'll just roll with it.

[–] Lightfire228@pawb.social 0 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Let's not spin our wheels on this

[–] smitten@lemmy.blahaj.zone 0 points 3 months ago

I can see why, they look wheely nice.

[–] HenriVolney@sh.itjust.works 0 points 3 months ago

This is dad joke tier!

[–] abcd@feddit.org 0 points 3 months ago

I can smell this picture 🤢

[–] TheDarksteel94@sopuli.xyz 0 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Would probably be better if the whole thing was covered by a thin layer of resin. Or if the tire's profile was somehow filled in, at least.

[–] tehmics@lemmy.world 0 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Missed the joke, did not include a pun.

0/10

[–] TheDarksteel94@sopuli.xyz 0 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Wdym, I didn't miss the joke 🤔

[–] isolatedscotch@discuss.tchncs.de 0 points 3 months ago (1 children)

spoilers

good year or two

Goodyear, the tire company

[–] TheDarksteel94@sopuli.xyz 0 points 3 months ago

Yeah, I got the joke. Doesn't mean I can't say anything about the actual table lol

[–] Churbleyimyam@lemm.ee 0 points 3 months ago

Pray nobody knocks over an ashtray on that.

[–] dogsoahC@lemm.ee 0 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Ngl, it does look kinda cool. Driving me crazy that I don't have one.

[–] ICastFist@programming.dev 0 points 3 months ago

I'd say it's quite the bumpy ride with a table like that

[–] MonkderDritte@feddit.de 0 points 3 months ago

A table made of pollutants.

[–] Localhorst86@feddit.org 0 points 3 months ago (1 children)

as a tire enthusiast, I can certainly see the intended joke, but it falls flat on it's face as it should be quite obvious to anyone that this thread pattern is not from a Goodyear tire, but quite clearly Pirelli. 🤓

[–] Tlaloc_Temporal@lemmy.ca 0 points 3 months ago

It's still a Pirelli neat table.

[–] hakunawazo@lemmy.world 0 points 3 months ago

The table is a bit flat.
