With Meta starting to actually implement ActivityPub, I think it would be a good idea to remind everyone of what they are most likely going to do.

Yea ... this seems like a rapidly spread falsehood ... someone claimed that it's developed by Google because it's made a group/company that have received VC funding from Mozilla, whose main income is from Google's "default search engine fee".

There are connections, sure, as there are throughout the whole tech industry ... but really it's just rubbish misinformation social media drama shite.
