What's up with the anglosphere just letting people use their nickname on official documents?

We had so much trouble with that when validating vaccines with Anglo clients not having a valid ID with the same name as their proof of vaccination on it...

No idea. Is it that much of a hassle to get a legal name change?

I know most people that happened with just said "Oh it's the name I always use." and they seemed to find it perfectly normal to have three pieces of ID with three different first names with only their health card (not a valid ID in their case) having their true name on it 🤷
