The GOP Senator has come under fire after introducing a bill that would limit policies about pronouns and preferred names—particularly since Cruz's legal name is actually Rafael Edward Cruz.

What's up with the anglosphere just letting people use their nickname on official documents?

We had so much trouble with that when validating vaccines with Anglo clients not having a valid ID with the same name as their proof of vaccination on it...

No idea. Is it that much of a hassle to get a legal name change?

I know most people that happened with just said "Oh it's the name I always use." and they seemed to find it perfectly normal to have three pieces of ID with three different first names with only their health card (not a valid ID in their case) having their true name on it 🤷
