Series creator Ed Boon tells BBC Newsbeat the hybrid console's version will "absolutely be getting an update".

"And a number of the the concerns of the issues that had come up will absolutely be addressed," he says.

"It would have been ideal for us to have released the version that we absolutely wanted.

"But anything that we're finding a problem with is on our list and is going to be fixed."

I have faith in them. Let's see how long it takes though, and what the final product will be.

Why would you have faith in a company that sold you an inferior product for the same money as the Xbox and PS5 versions? Do you think they didn't know the problems? Of course they did.

Well, sometimes when an item must be shipped is not in the hands of devs. Without knowing who decided on going ahead with shipping it in this state, I am going to give devs benefit of the doubt since their previous iteration ran well enough on Switch.

If all versions were so bad, or if they had a track record of releasing games on Switch in broken state (which I must admit, I didn't check), then yes, I would say my faith is misplaced.

But yes, I guess we tend to ignore the faults of people (and companies) we like, and objectively speaking, I should've been more critical of them.
