Call and check with your doctor if it feels wrong, but it was a full month before I didn't hurt just day to day, and another full month before sports were fully comfortable again.
Everyone is different, and I couldn't tell you if it's really normal or not, but it really does take a while for everything to go back to truly pain free.
Thanks for these comments. I'm going in to get cut in a month, and knowing these expectations will help me understand what's going on.
