Seriously, if they present some actual evidence, I'll be standing right with the Republicans (well, OK a reasonable distance apart so people don't think we're together) in calling for his impeachment.

So far though, all they've actually put forward are legal issues with Hunter (who I didn't vote for), with no actual legal issues with Biden. I think it says a lot that they've started this whole process without actually presenting a shred of evidence beforehand.

The whole thing reeks of "you made us look bad by impeaching our guy, and that hurt our feelings. so now we're gonna do it to you guys!"

@bitsplease @Chaser

And this is what separates Republicans from everyone sane.

We want ALL criminals prosecuted. They want their team immune and everyone else abused by the legal system.

Your final statement is exactly what this is about, because that's what we can expect from children in adult clothes.

Yeah they're still mad Nixon was forced to resign. So they tried their best to throw mud at every Democrat since. They had something, no matter how small, to impeach Clinton over and fumed over not being able to impeach Obama. Trump deserved impeachment more than he got. And now they are madder about that.

It might be anecdotal but this honestly just seems like a Republican Establishment thing. I peruse conservative talking spheres both online and off because of my location and extended family, for the most part everyone just agrees that if someone committed a crime they should be punished regardless of the side of the aisle.

That being said, it doesn't invalidate any statements made here about the possible motivations for this newest publicity stunt. I think the majority of people are just tired of hearing about "this side bad" and just want the government to get their shit together and actually legislate to help the working class.
