Sync was Reddit for me.

Reddit dies in my mind when Reddit Sync is no more (I'm gonna patch it with revanced)

If Sync lives on in Lemmy, that's gosh dang amazing

Jerboa is cool and all, but it's no Sync :)

Jerboa is ... Ok. But using it made me realize how used I am too Sync and the way it works, looks, and feels. So I'm really happy Sync might live on!

And as Reddit had shown, good 3rd party applications determine a lot of the viability of a platform.
