Server and database migrations this weekend. So I don't really get a weekend this week but at least I get a 4 day weekend next weekend from comp time

Have you tested your premigration backups yet?

That isn't my department. The DBAs have been planning on this migration for a few months now. I will be doing post migration validation and troubleshooting. Since this is a large company and huge migration we have about 200 people on call for this migration.

eh not really. work from home most days, so it isn't like I am stuck in an office. When I was stuck in an office 5 days a week, a 7-10 day shift really sucked. At least now I can get up an do stuff around the house while we have down time. Since I am not needed for all of the deployment I am able to get out of the house just need to be able to get home within 20 min. So that makes this extremely bearable.
