There's probably gotta be a company/ad friendly instance for Lemmy to become large enough to support niche communities elsewhere. It might as well be lw

They're already there, they just have to be quiet about it. I mean there was even that catfisher or whatever spamming people recently that became a meme. It's free (advertising) real estate. I mean if tribes opened an official sub on there it would technically be advertising
