No offense but adults should be better at resisting manipulation than schoolchildren. Plenty of people in the US saw the right turn fascist and went "hey, that's bad, I'm not going to vote for them". Anyone could do it. So, yeah, I blame them a lot and I think if you believe you could fall for fascism easily you should work on finding ways to improve on that weakness.
