This might be giving him too much credit, but I think what he's trying to say is that he had the woke_mind_virus and deleted it from his mind? They've all co-opted the term red pill from the Matrix (widely seen as a trans allegory) and are using it to justify their unpopular actions because they're now free of having to be "woke" and can oppress those who are marginalized.
