Buena Vista Wetshaving Social Club Wed 15 Jan 2025

  • Brush: Chisel and Hound Azurite with 26 mm Maggard Tuxedo knot
  • Razor: Thiers Issard 14 Médaille d'Or 1921 Exposition d'Algier Acier Spécial (7/8", extra hollow, square point, carbon steel)
  • Lather: Los Jabones de Joserra – Noir
  • Post Shave: Mühle – Aloe Vera

Another BVWSC shave in the books, again with a new to me artisan, this time from sunny España. @gcgallant@sub.wetshaving.social chose a warm woody soap with a green heart. Just delightful. I don't get the darkness that the name implies, and that's just fine. The soap base is easy to use, with dense lather that hydrates gradually. There really doesn't seem to be a shortage of great artisans :)

This isn't the first time that the BVWSC makes me discover a new artisan that I instantly like and am tempted to include in my den.
