For those who might not get it, every laptop that I’ve had has had two usb 3 ports on the right side, with other I/O like HDMI or headphone jack, and then one USB 2 port on the left side with less io, just the power jack.

Yea with the amount of USB-A stuff still in circulation everyone dropping it early was so fuckin’ weak. That’ll shit’ll still be useful a decade from now.
I find myself not often using my open hardwane USB security token since it is inconvenient to use a dongle (same reason phones should never have dropped headphone jacks)
