Yes.
People like that think this is a gotcha because they assume you think the same way as them. Picking a team and defending anything they do regardless of whether it makes sense. We can criticise the U.S and Russia, it doesn't detract from the fucking horrible shit Russia is doing and must be called out on.
Exactly. This isnβt the gotcha they think it is. One can be clear eyed and critical about countries on multiple sides of global conflicts.
America shouldn't have invaded them either.

The world should have. World leaders and global organizations charged with ensuring global peace and security keep failing at their job. It is is a major reason why we see a rise in conflicts the world over.
America did not invade any nation. Those nations were invaded only by the US.
