Dad got sick and gave me his old Norton Commando 750 restoration project, essentially a frame and bins and bins full of parts. It was the motorcycle he wanted ever since he was in school, so I'm hoping to have it up and running in the spring while he is still around. I've never built an engine before so I'm just trying to figure out how to start. Anybody ever done something like this before with zero experience?
Hmmm I originally thought something in that year would have a repair manual online, but I don’t see anything in print. I DO see a few YouTube videos to help with rebuild? It looks like the online forums might still be current but nothing in the actual rebuild detail for online help/expertise.
Oh thanks for looking I actually have a hard copy of a shop manual, should be a decent reference
