Why is it that when regular people pirate something, they immediately get a notification from the isp, threatening legal action, but when Nvidia pirates something in mass, it’s called groundbreaking innovation

It's not theft, but it is copyright infringement. I pirate, but I'm under no illusions about what I'm doing. I do try to contribute back to the artist directly where possible.
