Somehow overnight our little spoons spontaneously organised themselves into perfect order.

I can confirm neither of us did this on purpose, as you can see our usual cutlery storage method is just "throw it in the drawer it's fine".

What's the word for the opposite of entropy?

After standing staring at the sight for a bit, we realised they may have done this to draw our attention to how badly the drawer needs cleaning. So it's ok, you don't need to ;)

What’s the word for the opposite of entropy?

Localised entropy may decrease so long as the total entropy increases. If the spoons hadn't organised themselves, would you have come to Lemmy to tell the world, expending energy in the process?
