What's crazy is even Instagram and WhatsApp don't have this many permissions.

IG and WhatsApp definitely still get all the telemetry they need - just through other methods or through OS level permission loopholes unfortunately

No because that would hinder their ability to dump information about everything they're doing and who they're with for attention.
